PP & FRP Corrosion-Resistant Fans
A steel fan in acid exhaust is a countdown timer. JHF supplies polypropylene and FRP fans whose wetted parts never see bare metal — impeller, housing and inlet cone in solid plastic, shaft sealed and sleeved, motor outside the airstream. Matched to our scrubbers and duct, or specified stand-alone against your duty point.
Tell us airflow and static pressure — or simply what the fan must pull through — and we select the size, motor and speed, then test-run the assembly before shipment.

Selection notes
How We Select a Fan That Won't Disappoint
- Duty point from the real system. We sum your scrubber, duct and hood losses — or measure from your drawings — instead of accepting a guessed pressure that leaves the line starved.
- Corrosion strategy, not paint. Wetted path fully in PP/FRP; steel appears only in the base frame and shaft, isolated by sleeve and slinger seal.
- Margin where it matters. Impellers rated for speed reserve so a VFD can trim to the actual system curve after commissioning.
- Quiet enough to keep neighbors calm. Low-noise impeller options, isolators and flexible connectors ship in the same crate.
- Spares that fit. Impellers, seals and belts are standardized — order by fan serial number years later.

Fan Questions
Can you match my existing fan for a drop-in replacement?
Yes — send the nameplate photo and flange dimensions. We match duty and bolt pattern so the new fan lands on the old base, usually without duct modification.
What voltage and frequency do you support?
Any market: 380V/50Hz, 400V/50Hz, 460V/60Hz, 220V single-phase for small units — stated on the nameplate with CE-style documentation for your electrician.
How is a large fan shipped?
Assembled on its base where container height allows; larger frames ship with the impeller mounted and the housing split at the factory joint, re-bolted on site in an hour.
Do plastic fans survive outdoors?
FRP housings are UV-stable as-is; PP builds for outdoor mounting get UV-stabilized material or a weather hood. Rain caps and bird screens are standard options.
